- Second, he believes his relationship with you is his top priority. He stands by all his work and he won’t experiment. He gives personalized care and wants a long-term relationship with you.
- Third, he wants to prevent problems. He knows that dental pain causes anxiety and that’s why he is committed to preventing pain before it ever hurts. He uses education and preventative dentistry to avoid future dental problems.
- Finally, when necessary, he solves your problem. He has spent a great deal of time on his personal education and training so that he can bring the very best care to the Waxahachie community.
Inspired by his family dentist in Arlington, Dr. Smith decided to study dentistry when he was still a young boy. Growing up he looked forward to dental appointments because of the caring atmosphere and the obvious pleasure his dentist received from helping his patients. In 1990, Dr. Smith earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Austin College. He continued his education and graduated from the University of Texas Health Science Center Dental School in 1994. (US News and World Report named UTHSCSA the #1 dental school in the USA in 1993.)
They have commitment and respect for their patients, whom they give individualized, fully explained care and plans. I never felt like I didn’t have their full attention. They talk with you and get to know you, they are very friendly and yet still professional. ~Michelle McCarthy

I was afraid to go to the dentist after so many I tried here in Waxahachie but when I found Dr. Smith and His wife Deborah, I felt finally my search was over. He does an excellent job, very professional and caring; what I like the most is that is a full individual attention which makes it very comfortable. Both are very friendly, Deborah is the best. Best dental experience ever. ~Carolina Bewley
